Did Marlene King just reveal plans for a Pretty Little Liars Movie?
Get ready, PLL Nation. We just may see our favorite liars on the big screen!
Just when you thought PLL had given you ALL the feels, Marlene King drops another major bomb. A PLL Movie may be in the works. Yep, our prayers have been answered by the Pretty Little Liars gods themselves. Though it hasn’t been officially confirmed, Marlene definitely sounded all for the idea of a movie during a live-stream interview with Good Morning America. She said QUOTE “We’ve got some really big ideas for a great movie.” Kinda sounds like it’s happening… right? However, she did reveal that if a movie based on the beloved TV show does happen QUOTE “it won’t happen right after the series ends.” But whatever. I’d totally wait for that movie.
And if that’s not enough to get you totally freaking out today, we’ve also been given some major spoilers about next week’s “Five Years Forward” special, and OMG we are finally going to find out WHAT happened to the Liars’ moms, who we last saw trapped in a basement…
The network also confirmed that we will find out what the liars have been up to, who they’ve been into, and where 5 years has taken each one in terms of their careers. PLUS, we’ll get shown two never-before-aired scenes from the show, and take a look behind the scenes.
