We can all finally breath again (well, sort of) because PLL is back in our lives, and it did not disappoint, so lets break down the PLL TOP 3 OMG moments from last night.
PLL producers really weren’t messing around with the whole 5 Years Forward time jump. The girls looked more mature, however, they took on a whole new role as college students partaking in drinking, hangovers, and cursing.
But the PLL fandom let out a unanimous sigh of happiness when the liars reunited with their exes after 5 years. That moment between Ezra and Aria when they locked eyes filled our hearts with so much Ezria love it was insane. Toby and Spencer even had a cute moment that ended with a dinner invitation from Toby. But all of us Haleb fans basically got a knife to the heart when we found out that Hanna is engaged and Caleb was letting his flirty flag fly high with.. ugh guys I can’t even say it, it makes we want to gag..WITH SPENCER! Hashtag Spaleb! Which brings us to our first OMG moment – Are Spencer and Caleb dating!?
First of all Spencer, this sitch just goes against the rules of feminism. You can’t talk to your best friends ex without her even knowing! Apparently Caleb and spencer have been in touch during these 5 years. Throughout the entire episode I kept telling myself it wasn’t true, but it seemed pretty legit when Caleb leaned over and put his hand on Spencer outside the church and said, “I’ll bring the car around” LIKE WHAT! You guys I just don’t know how I feel about this.
We find out the girls are brought back to Rosewood to help Charlotte get out of the hospital by making statements in front of a judge that they would feel safe if Charlotte was let out. Of course they wouldn’t feel safe, I mean we all remember the dollhouse, duh! But once again the liars were going to lie for Ali’s sake which brings me to the 2nd OMG moment – Aria tells the truth… For once!
Aria basically had a post traumatic stress moment looking down at her piece of paper before the judge. I was really proud of Aria for sticking to her gut. Unfortunately her statement didn’t help any because Charlotte was let out of the hospital… and the third and final OMG moment – Not even 24 hours later, Cece is dead.
What a way to start off the 2nd half of the season! A is dead you guys, and even though it was made to look like a suicide, it of course wasn’t. Detective Lorenzo told Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily that Charlotte was dead before falling to the ground.
So now we ask ourselves yet another mysterious question that we probably won’t know until like season 27 or something, “WHO KILLED CHARLOTTE?!” But I want to hear all of your theories and if there was an OMG moment I missed, let me know what part of the season premiere shocked you the most.
