The trailer for Pretty Little Liars seventh and potentially final season just dropped, and spoiler alert: It’s absolutely terrifying.
Brace yourself, guys, because the season 7 trailer for PLL is making the show look crazier, scarier, and more intense than ever before.
Season 6 left off with Hanna being pulled through a hole in the floor and then being dragged through the church, so I guess we should have expected this kind of level of terror and action to come in season 7. While the new trailer doesn’t give too much of the upcoming plot away, one thing is obvious -- Spencer, Aria, and Emily are going through some of the darkest times of their lives yet. Seriously, how much more can these girls take before they literally crack?! Take a look…
We can’t know for sure, but it looks like the girls are digging up a grave in the opening scene. Who the grave is for we don’t know, but when all the girls are crying and saying things like “I don’t think I can live with this”, and throwing out words like “plan” and “murder”...it’s probably safe to say that it’s not just someone’s pet hamster they’re putting to rest.
In addition to the crazy grave digging moments, a number of other flashes depict equally gruesome scenarios, with someone looking tortured in a mental institution, another laying helpless on a dark and creepy concrete floor, and even one scene that appears to have the girls discover someone hanging from a ceiling. Okay just describing this trailer is getting me wayyy too creeped out.
But we can at least find comfort in the one nice moment from the teaser, where Ezra is holding and comforting Aria...okay but even in that moment they both look like they’re hiding from someone and scared out of their minds, so it’s not even that nice. Our guess is whether this really does end up being the final season of the show or not, season 7 is not going to conclude with a happy ending for everyone. Just a wild guess.
