There’s a very familiar face in Rosewood and everybody kissing everybody in the season finale of Pretty Little Liars, and we’ve got the details right here on Clevver Newfeed.
A whole lot of crazy went down in Rosewood, PA last night, & if you haven’t seen the PLL Spring Finale yet, you might wanna put your earmuffs on, cuz I’m about to drop some major spoilers.
The biggest reveal happened with just seconds left in the episode but it definitely did not disappoint. After a fake Detective Wilden removes a very deceiving mask exposing that he’s actually Ali’s husband, Dr. Elliott Rollins, we come face to face with his partner in crime, the #TwinOnPLL that Marlene King has been teasing us with leading up to the finale, and that twin is none other than Mary Drake, Mrs. DiLaurentis’ sister, AND Charlotte DiLaurentis’ REAL mother. Have I lost you yet?
Ok PLL Nation, let’s break it down. So Mary Drake had her son, Charles, while institutionalized at Radley. But Charles was later adopted by his aunt, Jessica DiLaurentis, before transitioning into Charlotte, AKA, Cece Drake. We don’t exactly know why Mary Drake was at Radley in the first place, but obviously the woman’s crazy. After all, she’s teamed up with her niece’s new husband to claim back ownership of the Carrissimi Group, the same company Jason DiLaurentis is linked to… So basically, the DiLaurentis’ slash Drakes have officially become the most twisted family in the neighborhood. Sorry, Hastings, the title has passed on.
So while the gang was discovering Mrs. D’s evil twin, Ali was checking herself into a mental hospital because she thinks she’s losing it, but it’s just her insane husband & aunt messing with her again. And let’s not forget that we last see Hanna being dragged across the floor by who we can only assume is A, and she’s unconscious, which is a real bummer because she’s supposed to get back together with Caleb and live happily ever after, hello.
Team Haleb fans all over the world last night rejoiced when Hanna told Caleb she still had feelings for him, leading up to their epic reunion that involved a looooot of making out. But for me, the real magic happened between Aria and Ezra, and let’s just say, it looked like it went a lot further than kissing. Just sayin. What these reunions mean for Aria’s actual boyfriend, Liam, and Caleb’s actual girlfriend, Spencer, and Hanna’s FIANCE, Jordan, who knows? It can’t be good, but we’re not complaining yet. The only reunion that didn’t happen was Spoby, but now that Yvonne has seemingly left the picture, and Caleb’s clearly occupied, it can’t be too long before we see the sparks start flying.
