National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) member Saifuddin Abdullah believes that the rakyat should encourage Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak to repeal the Sedition Act.
Speaking at the National Young Lawyer Committee's launch of the #MansuhAktaHasutan campaign, he believed that Naib would listen to the rakyat.
However he notes that a minority within Umno might not agree with such a move.
