Raven Baxter and Devon Carter reunited on the latest episode of Raven’s Home and the nostalgia was real.
Raven and Devon may be divorced but they still know how to spice things up.
On the new That’s So Raven spin-off, Raven’s Home Raven married her high school sweet heart Devon Carter, had two beautiful kids but did end up getting a divorce. Nevertheless they remain friends and on Friday’s episode, Devon made his debut.
In the episode, Devon was on his way to an interview for his new weatherman gig. Later on in the episode Devon and Raven’s daughter Nia goes to her dad for guidance after feeling as though the apartment isn’t big enough for everyone seeing as though Chelsea and her son also live with Nia, Booker, and Raven. But all that aside, although Raven and Devon are still great friends, fans can’t help but to wonder what happened between them that led to a divorce. Raven told Seventeen magazine QUOTE - "They were high school sweethearts, but things change. People marry their high school sweethearts and then they grow up and things change and they get divorced and things are good because there's still friendship there. There are so many types of divorces portrayed on TV but we wanted to go the route of you can have a happy divorce.”
Raven’s Home has been received extremely well with the series premiere becoming the number 1 cable TV series launch in two years in the targeted kid and tween demographics. The first episode racked in 4 million views as well as 2.4 million from uploading the full episode to Youtube, in addition to the 1 million views it received from the Disney Channel app and Disney Channel VOD.
