Those Disney Channel commercial breaks may look easy, but judging by this throwback footage, remembering lines was the least of Hillary Duff and Raven’s worries.
Remember those Disney Channel promos that every DC star did back in the day? Well, the behind the scenes footage was recently unearthed and everyone is freaking out.
If you were a kid growing up during this specific Disney Channel era, chances are, you probably dreamed about or even acted out those classic commercial breaks where you traced imaginary Mickey ears with a wand. Heck, I did!
And while it looked SUPER fun and cool to do that, this behind-the-scenes footage of Hilary, Raven, LaLaine and a few others made it look otherwise. Raven’s footage actually started off pretty great. She hit every mark from the very beginning.
But then when she was asked to do another take for like, the 700th time, she just was not having it.
I get it, girl. It’s not fun having to do multiple takes for the same thing over and over again. But, Raven wasn’t the only one who wasn’t having fun. Hilary visibly looked uncomfortable the whole time.
Then there was LaLaine who just could not care less about getting the mouse ears perfect.
After watching all of those clips, it makes me wonder if any of them actually knew how to draw mouse ears. Thankfully, with the power of editing and slicing and dicing, all of their drawings and takes looked great.
