Hilary Duff was the victim of an over one-hundred thousand dollar heist of jewelry from her Beverly Hills home while she was away on vacation with her family. Today’s episode is presented by T-Mobile - America’s Best Unlimited Network.
The series of celebrity home burglaries continues, but thankfully no one was harmed.
While Hilary Duff was away on vaca in Canada, someone burglarized her Beverly Hills home and stole hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of jewelry. TMZ has reported that the burglar broke through the door of Hilary’s home, but the alarm didn’t sound which allowed for the thief to steal over 100,000 dollars worth of bling. Hilary is still away on vacation with her son Luca, but her representative has informed The Daily Mail that she has increased her home’s security significantly to prevent future break-ins. The rep released a statement saying QUOTE - "This is a scary and upsetting situation for anyone to go through, but Hilary is thankful that her family, her staff, her home and her pets are all safe. That said, she has a significant security team in place that will work with the authorities on this incident and handle security measures moving forward." Other celebs whose homes have been burglarized recently include Scott Disick, Ronda Rousey, and Michael B. Jordan. So while people should be able to live their lives and post what they want on social media, unfortunately it’s important to remember that when you post publicly that you’re away on vacation, people know that means you’re obviously not home which can make your home an easy target for burglaries. But thankfully none of Hillary’s pets or loved ones were harmed.
