Hilary Duff Defends Selena Gomez & How She Handles Fame

And selgo isn’t just famous, home girl’s a full on super star and while she’s been going through it lately- she has a supporter in Hilary Duff… Duff sat down with JUST Jenny on Sirius XM and opened up about not only being a child star herself and trying to shed that image but also about her feelings surrounding Selena Gomez.
Hil talks about being famous sayin: you get to do awesome things, meet amazing people and stay in great hotel rooms but she explained that it’s very lonely she and talked about how the industry is very different now compared to when she was coming up in Hollywood.
Hilary then went on to praise Selena Gomez regarding her recent decision to take some time off for herself saying: "I think the saving grace is, she makes great music. Tons people love her… The public is smart to gossip magazines and that they're just trying to make money. At the end of the day they love those people and they love their music."
ON her own career she said going into music was one of the smartest things she did so that she could really be Hilary and not Lizzie… She said QUOTE: “I think it worked but I also say, people have such a connection to that show that sometimes they're always going to see me like that and it was frustrating when I was younger, and now I don't really give a sh*t."
I’m just happy she’s happy… I LOVED Lizzie Maguire but I ALSO loved her most recent album and YOUNGER on TV LAND helloooooooo…
She did appreciate being a part of Lizzie Maguire though- she told Jenny
Jenny also chatted with the young star about signing with Scooter Braun and asked if there were any plans to collaborate with Justin Bieber.
Hil said, "No," as she started to laugh a bit…. I MEANNNNNN, you can't praise Selena GOMEZ and then in the next breath say you're collabing with Justin! But then again she’s Hilary duff so she can do whatever she wants…
