Justin Bieber's Mom DEFENDS Him After Selena Gomez Mom Diss

Selena Gomez’s mom, Mandy Teefey, started some drama earlier this week after she did an interview with Gossip Cop about Jelena 3.0. She admitted that she’s not happy that Justin and Selena are back together and explained QUOTE “She is 25 years old and knows what is at stake with her health. I do not control her the way it has been portrayed. Selena is an adult and can make her own choices.”
Yikes! But even though Mandy doesn’t have the best opinion on The Biebs, Justin’s mom, Pattie Mallette, obviously thinks her son is the greatest thing since sliced bread. The pair is currently vacationing together in the Maldives and Pattie posted a heartfelt message gushing about the singer.
She captioned a picture of herself and Justin standing on a boat QUOTE “I’m so proud of the amazing young man you are, and the young man you are becoming. None of us are perfect and never will be, (so we will always need patience and grace for each other), but your genuine growing relationship with Jesus is evident in the choices you are making daily and the good ‘fruit’ you bear. I admire your character and integrity. You are maturing beautifully and wise beyond your years. You are so funny that I find myself laughing out loud when I’m alone, remembering of something you said or did. And your heart is gold. I love you to the moon and back. #lovemom Ps. Did I mention I was proud of you?”
How sweet is that? It’s so nice to see that Justin and his mom are back on good terms, especially after he called his relationship with her QUOTE “pretty nonexisting” back in 2015. The “Despacito” singer explained at the time, “I was distant because I was ashamed. I never wanted my mom to be disappointed in me and I knew she was. We spent some time not talking, so it takes time to rebuild that trust. She’s living in Hawaii now, so it’s hard, but getting better. She’s an amazing woman and I love her."
Justin Bieber’s mama likes everyone, but it’s pretty clear that she likes her son the most...and that’s the way it should be!
