Selena Gomez Declares Her Love For The Weeknd On Instagram & The Weeknd Denies Bieber Diss

Selena and The Weeknd may be keeping things low key these days, but a new social media post is showing us that things are still going strong between the new couple.
In a new Instagram pic posted to Selena’s mom’s account, Selena poses with a group of friends wearing a t-shirt from The Weeknd’s merch line--and though it’s a very subtle shoutout to her new boyfriend, fans were quick to catch on to the fact that it’s definitely one of his T’s,
Nothing says things are heating up like wearing each other’s merch. And speaking of Selena’s new found love, sources at TMZ are reporting that The Weeknd is laughing at the idea that his new song, “Some Way” is a diss against her ex, Justin Bieber.
Despite the fact that Justin has thrown a healthy amount of shade towards The Weeknd since it was reported that he and Selena were dating, the R&B singer’s latest track “Some Way” was written long before any of that went down, so the idea that The Weeknd is trying to taunt the Biebs with the lyrics is absolutely ridiculous and entirely inaccurate.
Meanwhile Selena hasn’t commented on any of the press about Justin’s feud with The Weeknd, and according to that same TMZ source, she isn’t planning to anytime soon. According to the source, Selena is reportedly sick of everyone on social media QUOTE, “trying to define her by the guy she’s dating”. The source went on to explain that Selena is proud of all of her accomplishments and wants to be defined by those instead. She’s already been taking steps to keep the personal and professional aspects of her life as separate as possible, by doing things such as not attending the Grammys with The Weeknd earlier this month, and keeping things as low key and out of the spotlight as much as possible. Of course, that’s not going to stop fans from freaking out over subtle t-shirt shout-outs on Instagram, but she’s gotta give us SOMETHING, right?!
