Selena Gomez & The Weeknd Go On ADORABLE Date At Aquarium & Selena Files To Trademark Her Name

It looks like Selena Gomez wants to make sure that she is THE ONLY Selena Gomez out there!
Selena and the Weekend continue to get more and more adorable as the days go by! This past weekend they were spotted in his hometown of Toronto and had an adorable date at Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada. And they gave us the most adorable insta videos to gush over! Selena is seen here sitting on top of the weekends shoulders looking at Jellyfish. Ugh my heart. I can’t. Look at this boomerang!

But what’s this we hear about Selena wanting to trademark her name? According to TMZ Selena has filed legal papers to state that no one else can use her name. The documents say that no other person can use the name Selena Gomez while appearing on live TV or film, as well as while making music. Its also reported that Selena wants to own the rights to all fan groups in her name. This would also prevent people from creating a fan group for any other Selena Gomez that might exist. But, one last detail, that could be kind of exciting. The documents also state that she has requested the right to trademark her name for a jewelry line. Does this mean we are going to get Selena accessories soon? I sure hope so! Fingers crossed!
