Get ready OG Disney fans because Raven is returning to Disney Channel!
Get ready for all the visions, tricks, and bits because That’s So Raven is making a comeback…ya little nasty.
All of my childhood hopes and dreams are coming into fruition because Raven just announced that she is leaving The View and will be returning to Disney Channel to reprise her role as Raven Baxter.
Not only will Raven be reprising her role as everyone’s favorite psychic, but she will also be executive producing the show. The premise of the sequel will be that Raven is a divorced mother with a son and a daughter, one of whom has inherited her psychic abilities so you know between Raven’s visions and now her helping her kid through the same craziness she went through, no doubt the antics will be endless. The EVP of Original Programming for Disney Channels Worldwide commented expressing his excitement for the new show saying QUOTE - “Raven’s brilliant style of fearless comedy was a driving force for Disney Channel’s success around the world. Her performance in That’s So Raven is timeless. We now have our eyes on the future with her, and we’re looking forward to telling more stories for a new generation with an adult Raven Baxter raising her young family.” And this isn’t the first time Disney has rebooted one of its popular sitcoms. They did a similar revamp with Girl Meets World. The Raven sequel is just beginning preliminary casting so it will probably be awhile before we get any promos but we can have peace of mind knowing that it is happening. The pilot will be written and produced by famed producing partners, Scott Thomas and Jed Elinoff. Um so who else is losing their ish over a That’s So Raven sequel?
