Click to Subscribe! ► - The BEAST is a Power-plant 4x4 - It always has been. This truck has been with me the longest, and today it got a chance to use its dual brushed motor setup, and all steel driveline. I have recently re-tuned the suspension so as it could pull great weight, without a huge amount of noticeable torque twist. The motors are Tekin Racing 35t Brushed. I am running both motors from a Tekin Racing RX8 ESC, powered by a 3s Lipo Battery.
The Trailer being used was hand made by my friend Krazy Joe, from the Rude Boyz RC Garage. They are no longer made, and is a limited edition trailer. We made it at the garage back in 2012. It is made of Angle Steel and Wood. The suspension is leaf sprung. I have 1.55 tires on the trailer, but it could stand to be hard foam for inserts.
The Bull Dozer is a 1/14th in scale. Powerful and Stunning, are two of the words that come to my mind mind when using this Heavy Mini Dozer. These particular models are becoming harder to come by, as the company that produced them (Stahl Modellbau Germany) no longer exists. The Body parts and Blade are made of 1.5 mm thick hard rolled aluminum. The finished drive carrier is made of cast aluminum . The base plate is stamped from sheet steel. The ball-bearing guide wheels are cushioned by preloaded coil springs. The hood can be removed, and the cockpit doors open. The tracks are made of steel, and are very sharp. The motors are running a 200:1 gear ratio, and each track has a motor and gearbox dedicated to the drive cog.
