Click to Subscribe! ► - Maintenance week is continuing in my RCSparks Studio, and today i am upgrading the suspension in my HPi Savage XS Flux Mini Monster Truck 4x4. This little rig is a beast and certainly packs a punch when powered by a 3s Lipo Battery! Here's a video of it in action (with onboard shots):
The upgrade I am doing will correct any issues I have with the rod ends breaking off in future jumps, as these ones are anodized aluminum. Very tough and reinforced compared to the stock option. Also the droop and rebound rate is very good!
I also mention some common thoughts and concerns about first time users of radio control hobby gear. Learning how to maintain your RC's is just as important as running them! If you don't dig in, and learn about your RC but taking it apart and keeping it in running condition - then truly, you may not want to be in this hobby. You can't avoid it! So, don't be afraid.. just clear off a space where you can work. Get out your tools, some rags, and some cleaner. It's time to get it done !
A lot of people ask me questions about the RC's I use in my videos - so I copy and pasted some info from the manufacturers website to help save you some time.
