Trucking is a difficult task, more than some folks realize. Trying to climb any Hill can be a challenge when you are hauling a heavy load, but if your payload is too heavy, and the incline is too steep - you may have a Trucking Fail on your hands. This is what we see today in the film - BUT - Thankfully - this old work horse was equipped with a Winch. The drivers quick thinking and experience was able to make this precarious situation much better, by simply applying some physics.
All imagination aside - the Old Truck I am filming today is a "King Kong RC - CA10". I assembled it on YouTube, and painted it for everyone who is interested in seeing it. In fact, here is a link to the playlist with the how the events unfolded:
This truck is a replica of a 1940's CA10 / KR11Harvester International, a common workhorse seen on farms and other areas of the world for literal decades! This is a true replica, and is an OPEN DiFFERENTiAL, 2WD Truck. It has been hand painted, and outfitted with a Sound Unit that is throttle responsive.
This truck is perfect for the landscape out here
The excavators in the video are from a site called "RC4WD". These are the "old" versions that are not available anymore - so I will not link them. I suggest checking out RC4WD for some neat construction RC's, and otherwise!
Thanks for checking out my film today.. I hope you enjoyed it. I have many other films like this on my YouTube channel, so please check them out. I hope they inspire you to have fun with a great hobby.
