Rebel WIlson Set To Play Adele In An Upcoming Biopic?

Rebel may be a pitch perfect choice to portray Adele on the big screen, but let’s not get too excited about the news just yet.
The U.K’s Daily Star has some explainin’ to do. Earlier this week, a source spilled the supposed beans on Rebel taking on the role of a lifetime by playing Adele. They told the tabloid that Rebel QUOTE "always wanted to prove she can cut it as a serious actress.” Also stating, “This is going to be a huge challenge for her because Adele is a legend at the peak of her popularity. Rebel can't match Adele's vocal talents but she can certainly sing. And with a little technical wizardry, she’ll sound just like her in the movie. She is desperately hoping to get Adele's blessing." Ugh… as if, unnamed fictional made up story starter!
Rebel was quick to put the rumor to rest on her twitter saying, “I have never been offered to play Adele in a biopic...completely made up tabloid story with fictitious unnamed source!" The actress also tweeted that she loves Adele and even told a fan that she might consider doing it someday, but it would depend on the script. Fair enough.
But of course, if an Adele biopic was in the making, the queen herself would also need to sign off on it. As the songstress reportedly stated at her concert on Tuesday, “I've heard there are rumors about Rebel Wilson will be playing me in a movie. Let's see if that turns out to be true. She'd need my f--king permission. Just because I'm plus-sized doesn't mean she's playing me."
