Amidst industry buzz that a Legally Blonde 3 was in the works, Elle Woods herself, Reese Witherspoon confirmed that would actually be happening.
What, like you though it would be hard?
More than 15 years after Elle Woods aced the LSAT, Legally Blonde is getting another sequel! Deadline reported on Monday that MGM was near a deal with Reese Witherspoon to reprise her role and they were hoping to get most of the original producing and writing team back together. Well, the bend and snap worked because TODAY Reese OFFICIALLY confirmed on her instragram that the flick is happening. And of course, she did so in the most Elle Woods way.
Remmeber her iconic Harvard Law application essay video? Who could forget her gliding by in the pool wearing a pink sequined bikini. Well, she posted a clip of her in THAT SAME bikini, gliding by in her Elle Woods way to instagram with just the caption, “it’s true....#legallyblonde3”
In case you want to go further down memory, this clip was taken from 2 years ago on the 15th reunion of the release of the movie when she took to snapchat to show us all the awesome pink costumes she got to hold onto.
