Reese Witherspoon Tried on ALL of her Legally Blonde Costumes for the film’s 15th anniversary, and OH THE FEELS!
Reese Witherspoon just reminded us just how iconic and timeless her Legally Blonde character, Elle Woods, truly is. And all she had to do was throw on some clothes.
Yesterday marked the 15th anniversary of the film that taught us all how to bend and snap, and rather than just tweet a throwback photo of herself from the film, Reese took the celebrations to the next level, trying on all of her costumes from the film--and we mean all of them! She brought out everything from the vault from the bunny ears to the fluffy shoes--she even rocked the sparkly pink bikini from her Harvard application video. And I mean ROCKED it. Check it out…
Ahh-mazing, right?! Reese posted pictures of herself wearing the various outfits on her Snapchat and Instagram accounts, and we were instantly giddy, nostalgic fangirls for Elle Woods all over again. The best part was when she re-taught us all how to bend-and-snap, which was so gracious of her because after 15 years, we could all use a little refresher…
But the most impressive thing about Reese’s blast from the past Insta posts is that she wore these outfits 15 YEARS ago when she was just 25, and today she’s 40 and she STILL looks as amazing as ever. Can someone please tell us what fountain of youth she drank from? Or at least what her exercise regimen is? Because if we just saw these pics and didn’t know they were taken today, we’d easily mistake them for production photos from over a decade ago.
These days Reese has been busy playing mom to her three young children as well as taking on the role as producer for an upcoming 23 projects. Wow, when does she sleep? Apparently never, because she’s also starring opposite Nicole Kidman and Alexander Skarsgård in the upcoming HBO series, Big Little Lies, which is set to debut in 2017. And as if that isn’t enough work on her plate, Reese is also producing and starring in a live-action Peter Pan spinoff called Tinker Bell, where she’ll play the titular iconic character. Okay now I’m officially convinced that Reese is drinking some kind of magic potion that keeps her youthful, talented, ambitious, and gorgeous. And whatever that potion is, I need to get me some of it.
