Malaysian Indian Restaurants Association (PRIMAS) President T Mutusamy believes that the federal government needs to gets their priorities right when it comes to discouraging smoking.
He says that the government should focus on the menace of illicit cigarettes and the sale of single sticks instead of imposing a law banning smoking inside and within 10 feet of an eatery.
PRIMAS, together with The Malaysia-Singapore Coffee Shop Proprietors' General Association (MSCSPGA) and the Malaysian-Muslim Restaurant Owners Association (PRESMA) held a joint press conference today to oppose the announcement from the health ministry.
