Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia has been temporarily deregistered until they comply with the Registrar of Societies' (ROS) request to furnish requested information within 30 days.
ROS director-general Surayati Ibrahim said Bersatu failed to submit all information and documents required by it under Section 14 (2) of the Societies Act 1966.
She said the de-registration will become permanent if the party fails to comply with the Registrar of Societies' (ROS) request after 30 days or if they appeal and it is rejected.
Section 14(2) of the Societies Act allows the ROS to order any registered society to furnish them with documents concerning the party.
