Selena Gomez & David Henrie’s date night ends with a car singalong that Carrie Underwood wants in on! Allow me to explain. Selena joined her former co-star from Wizards of Waverly Place David Henrie at none other than Il Cielo, an adorable Italian restaurant in Beverly Hills which if memory serves correctly is the same spot that Justin Bieber threw a lavish birthday party for her back in 2012! But that’s beside the point. So Selena and David meet up for a nice dinner. We think he got her flowers because when she left she carried red flowers in her tote. And not only did they leave together but Selena instagrammed an adorable video of the 2 getting down to Carrie Underwood’s “Something in the Water” song…
They’re so cute. She was clearly in her happy place because she also wrote this on Instagram. “@davidhenrie and I have spent many years driving and doing our sing alongs but we have to agree that we are pumped and proud of Carrie for releasing such a powerful song. #somethinginthewater #generationchange #davidcantsing” Ha. And of course Carrie Underwood was flattered that this car singalong had gone down so SHE retweeted Selena’s message and responded with: @selenagomez @DavidHenrie Your car ride singalongs look like fun...I'm going to have to try one myself with #TheHeartWantsWhatItWants to which SEL responded with a happy face.
