Selena Gomez Releases Sexy New Single "Bad Liar" & Music Video

Selena Gomez has FINALLY released the music and visual for ‘Bad Liar’ and it’s probably her sexiest music video to date.
You guys, this music video is basically a part two to ‘Hands to Myself’ except only this time, she is keeping her hands to herself.
Late Wednesday night Selena dropped not one, but two bombs on her loyal fans. The first was her feathery new song, ‘Bad Liar,’ and the second was the music video counterpart to the hot new jam.
The musical visual is just as simple as the catchy track – all it features is Selena rolling around on a bed with her hands tied wearing well, barely anything.
Doesn’t it seem like this video is literally what would happen if Selena really did get arrested in ‘Hands to Myself?’
But the similarity to this video and ‘Hands to Myself’ isn’t the only comparison being made here. If the pumping bassline in ‘Bad Liar’ sounds familiar, it’s because Selena – along with songwriters Justin Tranter and Julia Michaels – sampled the classic riff from Talking Heads’ 1977 hit ‘Psycho Killer.’
Justin explained to Variety how the inspiration came about. He said QUOTE, “Selena and Julia are Talking Heads-obsessed. So when we all got together in one room, Julia suggested, ‘Why don’t we just write over the bassline from ‘Psycho Killer?’ and we were all going, ‘That sounds great!’”
As excited as we are about the song, we’re even MORE excited for Sel’s upcoming album. In the same interview with Variety, Justin spilled some of the deets on the direction of the ‘Bad Liar’ singer’s new album. He revealed QUOTE, “Selena is where she always is, ahead of the f—king curve. The music is very sexy, very smart and right where we left off last time.”
