Selena Gomez TEASES Mystery Project & Dishes On NEW Album

t’s been a while since we’ve seen new work from Selena Gomez. Is it possible that Taylor Swift’s not the ONLY one with a big announcement coming out soon?
What’s up guys, I’m Emile Ennis Jr for Clevver News and I am SO curious about what Selena has up her sleeve.
Her assistant (and BFF) Theresa Mingus recently teased a project she collaborated on with the “Back to You” singer. She posted a series of short clips on her Instagram story showing her and Selena chatting it up.
It seems like a casual sit down where the two of them go over the history of their friendship. We’re hoping it gets a little personal and shows us a new side of Selena, since Theresa says QUOTE “I just hate talking about myself,” and visibly cringes at the thought.
Then again, maybe Theresa just isn’t as comfortable in the spotlight as her famous friend.
Each clip gives us a tiny little taste of what they’re talking about. All we know for sure is it’s a sit-down with Selena, and just like besties do when they get together-- these two MAY possibly divulge more information than we’ve ever heard before…
But it’ll be interesting to hear some behind the scenes stories of how the two got together. Another clip showed Theresa beginning a story….

Selenators are already excited about the news, with one fan account tweeting QUOTE: according to selena gomez's bestie theresa marie mingus we're about to get an interview or something like that on 29th april and i've never been so happy about something ever in my life
We don’t know much else other than an April 29 release date. Theresa’s instagram stories even includes a countdown, teasing QUOTE “A CHANGE IS COMING, BUT WHO’S COUNTING?”:
Ummmmm, I AM! Meanwhile, Selena just did a huge interview. She was on the first episode of Coach’s new Dream It Real Podcast and she really opened up about being a role model, how she feels about Instagram and she talked about her new album. She said, “Working on this new record, I just wanted it to be me, all me. Every song is a story I’ve experienced. To that point, I think there’s no one who’s going to tell my story better than myself. I just really wanted to kind of just live with my story a bit and create it into something that means a lot to me." She also had a really sweet and powerful message for her fans, but you’ll have to check out the full podcast to hear all that.
