This is more than just a ‘survival’ indeed – Selena Gomez teased her brand new song “Revival” during her secret fan event in Los Angeles, and let’s just say, YA GIRL IS BACK.
October 9th cannot come soon enough, and I’m sorry, but what you’re about to hear will NOT make the anticipation any easier, but I promise you guys, it’ll be worth every second of waiting.
During her secret fan event in LA last night, Selena unveiled the music video for her second single off of “Revival”, “Same Old Love,” but that wasn’t the only surprise she had in store for her fans.
Selena revealed her excitement toward the particular song and to her fans surprise, she gave them a one-minute snippet of “Revival” and what it really means to her. Take a look:
After the one minute was up (which I’ve personally never felt a minute go by so fast), Selena yelled out, “THAT’S IT?! Can we just listen to all of my album now please?!” Yeah, we’re right there with ya girl. But I have to say, the lyrics to “Revival” truly speak volumes and let me just say, I can actually feel what this new awakening means to her.
She sings QUOTE, “I've become my own salvation, showing up, no more hiding, the light inside me is bursting, shining. It's my time to butterfly, all of work, is so hard earned. More than just survival, this is my revival.”
Get. It. Girl. I am seriously loving this new Selena and even more, I am loving everything I’ve heard off of Revival so far, so it can only get even better from here, right?!
