Selena Gomez & Nick Jonas Reunite? ►►

Selena Gomez is giving new details on her upcoming Revival album, and she promises fans a much deeper look into her own life.
And a revival it truly is, as Selena talks about finally being able to tell her true story within the upcoming album, and that all her walls have finally come down.
The first single off of Revival, “Good for You” was the smash hit song of the summer, and only a small preview of what we’re about to hear on Selena’s first record since leaving Disney for Interscope Records. She revealed that QUOTE, “I’ve lived such a public life that I understand that I’m under a microscope. That has taken me into so many different phases. It’s made me depressed and it’s made me happy and it’s made me grateful and humble—but I’ve learned it’s okay to let down my walls with my music, to feel sexy and good.”
I’d say her first single accomplished just that, BUT Selena ain’t stoppin’ there. She promised even more sultry singles and hints that this could be her most confident album yet, saying, “I was always insecure with my speaking voice because it’s so low. I never felt like it was feminine-sounding. I didn’t know it would be such an asset to who I am now, though. It adds a cool, personal quality. It’s exciting.”
Selena also talked about jetting off to Puerto Vallarta in Mexico to record the album with Britney Spears and Katy Perry hitmakers, and her go-to collaborators Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter from Semi Precious Weapons, Hitboy, and Rock Mafia, who have worked with Miley Cyrus and Ellie Goulding. She said, “We stayed in a house together like one big family. We’d wake up in our bathing suits, go to the beach and then the studio for hours. I wanted to feel the songs and be weird and have a change of environment.”
And naturally, if you’re working with such talented producers who have crafted some of the best pop hits, the results are bound to be epic. Selena talked about taking inspiration from her favorites growing up saying, “I grew up with Britney and NSYNC and Janet and all those people. I would buy the copy, read the thank you’s, and I felt like I knew them. Christina Aguilera’s Stripped was one of my favorites. What I loved about Revival is that it felt like there was a fluid story.
So we’ve got a lot to look forward to on Selena’s new Revival album, but I want to know your thoughts and also get to talking about your predictions for the upcoming album right down here in the comments section which I will have on repeat for DAYS come October 9. After that you can click over here to see where Selena really was during Justin Bieber’s performance at the VMAs (it has to do with Nick Jonas). Thanks for hanging out with me here on Clevver News, I’m your host Danielle Robay and I’ll see ya next time!
