But for the warning, the artwork was not the only thing Selena revealed today, and what I’m getting at is that her completely stripped down shot pretty much speaks for itself.
It all started when Selena began playing the usual game of subtle artist teases, as she took to Instagram to share a single photo that simply stated “This is my.” So naturally, the first thought that came to our mind was:
But then we were like, hold up. Selena Gomez. New album. Coming soon.
AH, REVIVAL. But just as we began sorting our thoughts out, this image-that’s-worth-more-than-a-thousand-words hit us harder than the sad reality that Selena’s Disney days are LONG behind her. She captioned the black and white photo “REVIVAL” as we suspected, and purposely leaves little to the imagination as she sits cross-armed and what we hoped would be a liiiiittle more cross-legged than what is pictured.
And we can’t forget about Selena’s lack of clothing mixed with her sultry stare that might as well be looking deep into our souls, which is most likely the result in what could only be her way of telling us that her new album will be “stripped” of the walls and that she is fully letting her guard down, but that’s just me.
