Shaed Song "Trampoline" Was Written About Their Childhood Home-Videos!! | Hollywire

We are with Chelsea Lee who is in the band Shaed with Max and Spencer Ernst. We caught up with Chelsea in Austin, TX at SXSW. This is her third year at the festival. She is here to perform at the festival! We discuss her song Trampoline. She says, they wrote it in her home last year while watching childhood videos of Max and Spencer jumping on a trampoline. Chelsea lives with Max and Spencer who are identical twin brothers! She is married to Spencer. Chelsea is originally from D.C. They came up with the name Shaed from a fantasy novel because they are all fantasy nerds. She informs us that her favorite hair color is pink. She had to dye her hair for the music video for their song Trampoline. She would love to collaborate with SZA or Her. The craziest things she's had happen to her is, she signed a fans arm with a marker and that person got her signature tattooed onto her arm!
SHAED, pronounced “shade”, is an electro pop trio that has found its footing in today’s electronic scene. Consisting of lead singer Chelsea Lee, and twin producers Max and Spencer Ernst, these three have skyrocketed up the charts and are working hard to solidify their position in the electronic scene. This trio met during their high school years, but did not get their mojo until halfway through college, where they decided to give it another chance.
