The world may not be a wish-granting factory, but it certainly seems like our wish just came true!
It’s been four years since the release of The Fault in Our Stars, and we’ve gotta say… we miss seeing Augustus Waters and Hazel Grace Lancaster’s romance play out on screen. And although Ansel and Shailene’s reunion at the Golden Globes isn’t technically the same, it’s the second best thing, so we’ll take it! Plus, we’re LIVING for the adorable photo of them together again!
Both Ansel and Shailene were nominated for Awards tonight, with Shailene being nominated for her role in Big Little Lies, and Ansel for Baby Driver, so the two former onscreen lovebirds were bound to run into each other, and we’re so glad they did!
But even though their romance just seemed SO real in The Fault in Our Stars, it’s important to remember that the two are more like brother and sister than anything else. After all, they did also play siblings in the Divergent series.
In 2015, Ansel even told Seventeen, QUOTE, “Me and Shailene have a really platonic relationship. I’ve never once wanted her sexually, which is nice.” And overall, it seems like they’ve developed an amazing working relationship because Shailene told People, QUOTE, “There’s something really beautiful about working with someone again, and again, and again because the more you get to know somebody on a personal level the more free you feel artistically.” Aww… don’t you just love these two?!
