Shawn Mendes STAYS In Mexico City To Help Out Post-Earthquake

Actions speak louder than words and after the tragic earthquake in Mexico City, Shawn is showing the city that he truly cares – and not just by sending his deepest condolences. But before we get into everything that Shawn is doing to help out the city, he actually sent out a message on his Instagram stating he will be postponing his show that was scheduled for the day after the earthquake.
He said QUOTE, “My deepest condolences are with those affected by the earthquake in Mexico today. Unfortunately, due to the circumstances, we will be unable to continue on with my Mexico City show scheduled for tomorrow. My love is with all of you and I promise I will be back.”
While Shawn could’ve just left the city following the disaster, he actually stayed behind to be there to lend a helping hand to those who were affected. Many Twitter accounts reported that Shawn was spotted out and about, buying QUOTE “food and water for the people that were affected by the earthquake.”
And even though he was busy helping out those in need, Shawn still managed to find time to stop and take photos with his fans. What an awesome guy.
