Shawn Mendes WANTS To Have His Heart Broken?!

Having your heart broken isn’t something many people look forward to but the same can’t be said for Shawn Mendes.
Can you blame a guy for just wanting to suffer for the sake of his art??
Judging by his songs, it’s safe to say that Shawn is no stranger to heartache. However, he revealed in a recent interview with Foquinha that he feels like he’s due for a huge heartbreak very soon and he’s actually looking forward to it! Don’t worry, there’s actually a pretty good explanation for it.
See? It’s not because he loves being sad after getting his heart stomped on! Although he admitted that he’s hasn’t really had his heart broken, he went on to say QUOTE, “I’m lucky, but that means it has to happen. But that’s good, I can’t wait for it to happen because I’ll probably get some good songs out of it.” Anything for great music, right?
Anyway, Shawn may be looking forward to some heartbreak, but he might forget about those plans when he finds out that he’s in the SECOND with the most nominations at the 2017 EMAs. Shawn managed to nab FIVE nominations this year while his former tour mate Taylor Swift dominates the list with SIX noms. Meanwhile Kendrick Lamar and Ed Sheeran are following closely behind Shawn with four nominations each.
Heart break, EMA nominations, heart break, EMA nominations…I think we all know which one is the better of the two.
