Zayn’s departure from One Direction may have hit Louis Tomlinson the hardest, but it doesn’t seem like Simon cared too much about Zayn leaving the band.
After Harry, Liam, Niall, and Louis presented Simon with an award for his contributions to the music industry at the Music industry Trust event, he started to give a speech and cracked a joke that made us all a little uncomfortable. He said, QUOTE “Just by luck I get the award I’ve been wanting all my life and I’m completely hammered. Guys, who misses Zayn?” It’s too soon, Simon! We know it’s only been about six months, but we’re still not over Zayn leaving One Direction!
The band made a pretty smooth transition after Zayn quit, but it still hurt them pretty badly, especially Louis. The singer opened up to The Sunday Times Style magazine about the whole debacle and said QUOTE “I think it was hard. I think maybe for me the most. But he wanted to be happy and he wasn’t.” We can’t imagine how hard it was for Louis to move on. After all, Zouis was one of the best bromances
