Umno Youth chief Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh said he is willing to lose his position in return for defending Islam on the issue of the sale of Allah socks.

Akmal said he also does not mind the reprimand from fellow leaders from components in the coalition government, as his acts are in line with Umno’s struggle to uphold Malay rights and the Islamic religion.
