The state of Pahang will be in mourning for 40 days and additional 60 days for the royal family after the burial of the King’s father Paduka Ayahanda Sultan Ahmad Shah Al-Musta'in Billah Sultan Abu Bakar at 4.35pm on Thursday.
The remains of His Highness were interred next to the grave of his wife who died in 1988.
Paduka Ayahanda Sultan Ahmad Shah passed away at the National Heart Institute at 8.50am on Wednesday.
