Surabaya Heroes monument

Surabaya Heroes monument is located at Jalan Tembaan. The monument was built to honor the Surabaya heroes who were killed during heavy fighting against the allied forces by NICA, and who wanted to occupy Surabaya on 10 November 1945. Surabaya Hero monument is located in front of the Surabaya governor's office.

Hero monument built in the form of "nail upside down with a height of 40.45 meters, by the diameter of 3.10 meters and the bottom diameter of 1.30 meters. Below the monument is decorated with carvings of Trisula, which pictured as " Chakra ", "Stamba" and '"Padma" as a symbol of the fire fight.

Within this pillar, there is a November 10 Museum . 10 November Museum was constructed to clarify the existence of the hero monument and as perverts to the historical evidence on 10 November 1945.
