Sarawak Deputy Chief Minister Awang Tengah Ali Hasan was reported to have said that he would pay the fine for failing to wear a facemask in public.
This was after a video showing him walking past a row of food and beverage stalls without a mask had gone viral on social media.
In the 25-second clip, he also appeared to be handing out RM50 each to five traders as he walked past and was given a drink from one of the stalls.
