PPBM Youth Chief Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman believes that government officials should be obliged to declare their assets in order to ensure that afforable housing is only made available at the appropriate prices to those who are in need of them.
He cited the case of corruption in the Sabah Water Department and the Kuala Lumpur City Hall where blatant abuse of power took place and added that the most severe form of punishment should be meted out on the individuals involved, even if it entails the death penalty.
