Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman has hit out at the government for failing to fulfill its promise on media freedom and interfering in ordinary matters that had previously been left undisturbed.
He brought up the government's plan to license social media companies and expanding the scope of the Printing Presses and Publications Act 1984 (PPPA) as examples of this.
