MCA’s Balakong state by-election candidate Tan Chee Teong has admitted that it is a tough fight for the party, but urged the voters to give it a chance to keep Pakatan Harapan’s power in check.
Tan also vowed to focus on pressing local issues in Balakong such as traffic congestion, flooding, water disruptions and dengue outbreaks if he was voted into the state assembly.
He said this during the launch of the party’s by-election machinery by party deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong at its new operations centre in Batu 11 Cheras on Wednesday.
