Tana Mongeau Issues OFFICIAL Apology for TanaCon Disaster After Hiatus

Tana Mongaeu just put up her first video in over a month, and in it, she finally addressed the whole TanaCon situation on her own channel, in her own words. Many thought she was going to go silent about everything after Shane Dawson’s 3 part series on the scandal, which featured Tana in it, but she still felt she needed to tell her side of the story.
“TanaCon: The good, the bad, and the ugly” is an hour along video that addresses pretty much every burning question we had regarding what the heck happened with TanaCon and what Tana’s been doing since. She even addressed something a lot of people have been wondering about: refunds.
And for those of you who want to know about that extra 1% that has yet to be reimbursed, YouTuber Gabbie Hannah tweeted at Tana saying QUOTE “question! are you using the money from your video to reimburse flights and hotels for the people who came out?” and Tana responded, “yes. 110%.”
So, let’s hope everyone gets reimbursed ASAP. Tana also used her new video as an opportunity to apologize once again to all her fans, saying QUOTE “To everyone that believed in me — whether you came and you got a sunburn and you waited in line for hours and hours and hours, or you are simply watching along this journey and you believed in me and I let you down — I’m sorry and I will spend the rest of my life trying to make this better.”
The rest of Tana’s new video includes footage of her planning the event, along with her commentary on what exactly went down. It’s definitely worth a watch for an even more in-depth look at what went wrong with TanaCon.
