The countdown to the sexiest night of the year is on- The annual Victoria Secret fashion show takes on December 2nd. Taylor Swift and the Angels just touched down in London Town and we have the inside scoop.
Famed for its gorgeous lingerie, iconic angel wings, and stunning models, the fashion show has also become known for having premier musical acts. And for the second year in a row, Taylor Swift will be performing during the runway extravaganza.
Last month the Victoria’s Secret Twitter page announced the news writing, ‘So nice, we booked her twice! Pumped to party like it’s #1989 w/ @taylorswift13! #VSFashionShow.’
Swift rocked the show last year, singing with Fall Out Boy when they performed ‘My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark’ and then later when she literally sparkled during her performance of ‘I Knew You Were Trouble.’
This year, she’ll take the stage again and we can only imagine what she has in store for us after the successful year she’s had with her new album 1989. Taylor arrived in London Sunday night and was pictured hanging out with a few of the models at a hotel prepping for the show. Supermodel Lily Aldridge instagrammed a pic with Tay and fellow Angel Behati Prinsloo with the caption, ‘London Girl Talk!!!’ #VSFashionShow #2days.’ Now the question we have is what do supermodels and the queen of pop talk about to prep for one of the biggest fashion events of the year?!
Taylor instagrammed a photo of her, Lily Aldridge and Candice Swanepoel writing, “Casually giving lily's rock hard abs a hug last night. @lilyaldridge @angelcandice” We are still waiting for Taylor to post a photo with her best friend and angel Karlie Kloss.
Taylor Swift , will be joined by performers Ariana Grande,Ed Sheeran and Hozier and veteran angels like Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio will both strut down the catwalk wearing the jeweled Fantasy Bra, worth $2 MILLION each. The highly anticipated fashion show will air in approximately 200 countries. That means a lot of people are going to see those angel wings…and a whole lot more!
The ladies will walk the runway tomorrow, but we won’t be able to catch the excitement until it airs on CBS on December 9th.
