Because apparently hand written cards and personalized gifts for your biggest fans is so 2014, Taylor Swift raises her own bar with what she did for this lucky pair.
She’s like a pop star, Mother Teresa, and Kat Von D all in one. Her name is Taylor Swift and her newest game is the art of tattoos.
For best friends Alanna Anuszewski and Sara Bayliss, their love of Taylor Swift is more than skin deep. (Get it?) So these girls are HUGE fans of Tay. And they managed to get their idol to design tattoos for them! TayTay hand wrote a lyric from her 1989 album track 'Clean' which eventually ended up inked on Alanna’s ribcage. The original line said, "She lost him but she found herself and somehow that was everything." But Alanna didn’t want to permanently ink herself with a message about losing a boy. So she skipped the first few words and settled with “she found herself and somehow that was everything." Isn’t that just awesome! It now lives forever in Tay’s handwriting on her rib cage! And Sara asked Taylor to handwrite the title to her song 'Enchanted' which now beautifully resides on the back of Sara’s right shoulder. So rewind- how did this all go down? As they explained to Seventeen Magazine, Alanna & Sara purchased tickets to four 1989 shows, including a Toronto concert on October 2. QUOTE "After every show, Taylor's mom picks out some really enthusiastic fans to meet Taylor. I didn't think I'd get picked, but I did," Alanna said. "Meeting her was so surreal. She talked to my friend and I for five minutes… I went through a really hard time last year, and 1989 got me through it… I wasn't going to get the tattoo unless it was in Taylor's handwriting. I didn't think it would actually happen." Well, Taylor sure is full of surprises. Kudos to her for doing this lovely gesture for her fans and finding the time! I barely find time to comb my hair. Let me know which celeb you’d love to have design a tattoo for you and what it would be!
