Taylor Swift & Tom Hiddleston Break Up: What Went Wrong?

The MET Gala jam sesh, beach PDA, world travels, meeting of the parents… all good things must come to an end at some point, right?
The shocking and ‘swift’ love affair of 2016 AKA Hiddleswift, has officially come to a close, as first reported by Us Weekly. After about three short months of dating, Taylor and Tom have decided to go their separate ways. Many sources have reported that the split was mutual, however, Us Weekly confirms that QUOTE, “She was the one to put the brakes on the relationship. Tom wanted the relationship to be more public than she was comfortable with.”
The breakup comes quickly following reports that Taylor was hesitant to accompany Tom as his date to the Emmy’s, because she was aware of the backlash that would come with such a public relationship, but Tom didn't listen to her concerns when she brought them up.
Although their relationship started off as public as could possibly be when the two were first spotted kissing on a Rhode Island beach, Tom denied that the relationship was a ‘publicity stunt’ back in July but confirmed that they were very happy together.
The couple had not been seen publicly since July after returning home from meeting each other’s’ families and traveling the world together, quickly sparking some trouble in paradise, however, now that they have split, sources say the two will remain friends, but just don’t see it working romantically at the time.
