The Lion King Remake Taps Donald Glover & James Earl John To Play Simba & Mufasa

OH he just can’t wait to be King!
and we can’t wait either! Introducing the new Simba for Disneys remake of the Lion King… Mr. Donald Glover!
The director Jon Favreau made the announcement yesterday via twitter sharing a picture of Glover captioning it “I just can’t wait to be king.” with the hashtag simba! Just in case you have been living under a rock and you’re not quite sure where that reference comes from here you go…
Glover is becoming reboot royalty. Because he also just landed a role in the upcoming Han Solo Star Wars movie.
but the good news doesn’t end there. The director also spilled that James Earl Jones who is the original voice of Mufasa in the animated film will reprise his role in the upcoming remake! Because lets be honest no one can play Mufasa quite like James Earl Jones!
and no body is messing or coming close to that unique voice! Favreau shared this news also via twitter calling James a legend!
