Before we dive into the singer’s performance, can we just take a moment to talk about Ariana’s sorry not sorry pun when she introduced The Weeknd to the stage?
Get it? The Weeknd got all those noms because he EARNED them? Ari saw the opportunity and she took it! Immediately after, The Weeknd took the stage in his VERY dapper looking tux and bow tie. He started off his medley with ‘I Can’t Feel My Face’ and blew us away with them vocals. Take a look.
Then made his way to the middle stage and went into his next song ‘In the Night.’
Sure, it was a very simple performance, because when you’ve got that voice, that’s all you need. That standing O he got in the end was no surprise! When Queen Adele stands up to clap for you, EVERYONE stands up to clap.
