So we must kick it off with the angel from above that is Lady Gaga. She obviously turned heads on the carpet but that David Bowie tribute performance. Besides absolutely epic, it was.. actually.. I’m honestly not even really sure how to describe it to you so… here… just watch a clip:
ANNNND on the topic of tributes --- can we talk about how Demi sang Lionel Richie’s “Hello” with the voice of an angel?!
Like okay I know the girl can sing but this performance made me lose my ability to even.
BUUUUT moving on… we have one performer who I’m pretty sure everyone was excited to see … yes ADELE. One slight hiccup was that the audio during her performance kind of sucked BUT if we’re being honest, is there really anything that can screw up an Adele performance?
And we obviously couldn’t leave out Kendrick Lamar --- who by far had the most theatrical performance of the night. He starts out in handcuffs and a prison uniform… then the lights go out to cue basically a black light costume change ---
Annnnnnd last but not least, my girl TORI KELLY killed yet another award show performance. This time she was joined by James Bay and the two sang a mash up of Tori’s Hollow and James’s Let It Go… needless to say it was magical.
