Why Rihanna Last Minute Cancelled Grammys 2016 Performance

Of course someone had to do something drastic at this year’s Grammy Awards, and this time, it was Rihanna! We’re getting into all the details about why she cancelled her performance right here on Trophy Life.
We were all disappointed to find out that Rihanna wouldn’t be performing at this year’s Grammy’s, but she does have a good reason behind the last-minute cancellation.
The singer’s rep confirmed to E! News saying, QUOTE: “Based on Rihanna’s examination, after the Grammy rehearsal today, Rihanna’s doctor put her on vocal rest for 48-hours because she was at risk of hemorrhaging her vocal chords.”
Rihanna arrived at the Staples Center for rehearsals, but left immediately after without walking the red carpet. The singer was scheduled to sing “Kiss It Better” from her recent release “Anti”, but instead tweeted to fans, QUOTE: “#NAVY so sorry I couldn’t be there… Thanks Grammys and CBS for your support tonight.”
Sources say Rihanna has been taking antibiotics for bronchitis for the past three days, but they apparently weren’t working.
Maybe that has something to do with her busy schedule lately. Not only did she present her new collection during New York’s Fashion Week, but she was also recently spotted at the same nightclub as Leonardo DiCaprio. Oooo… could something be brewing there?
