We’ve officially found our way “Out of the Woods” after the 2016 Grammys kicked off with a performance of Taylor Swift’s newest single so let’s break it down right here on Clevver’s Trophy Life.
And as Taylor’s FIRST public appearance of 2016, naturally, we were all thinking, ‘Hey Tay, nice to meet you, where you been?!’
We got all those 1989 tour flashback feels tonight during the opening of the Grammys when T-Swift, who flew slightly under the radar these past few months, kicked off the show with a stunning performance of her newest single, “Out of the Woods.” Take a look:
In true Taylor fashion, she wore a navy blue sequin jumpsuit, and debuted a brand new even shorter blonde bob, but her best accessory of the evening was her bestie and the songs co-writer Jack Antonoff, who sang and played guitar alongside her. Yeah, all around GOALS.
Tay ended the song on a high note, literally slamming all those high notes as she walked from the main stage to a round platform stage in the center of the arena and I’ve gotta say, there was no better way to kick off this year’s Grammy Awards, and once again, T-Swift slayed.
