Police said that there are no safety issues concerning Batu MP and PKR lawmaker P Prabakaran in regards to the incident where his Toyota Vellfire was splattered with eggs on Friday.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Mazlan Lazim said police have not ruled out the possibility that the incident was triggered by the demands from certain parties who wanted the Batu MP to resign.
Yesterday, Prabakaran filed a report at the Sentul police station after the Friday incident where his car, parked behind a restaurant in Jalan Ipoh, was splattered with eggs.
Commenting on the investigation, Mazlan said police couldn't identify those behind the incident as there was no closed-circuit television (CCTV) in the area.
"However, we are looking at other CCTVs in the nearby area and appeal to those who have information about the incident to facilitate police investigations," he said.
