Three Billboards Celebrates Outstanding Cast WIN At 2018 SAG Awards

Frances McDormand, Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson, and the rest of the ensemble of Three Billboards were ecstatic upon hearing the film’s name called for the Best Ensemble Film Cast award. Considering the SAG awards are all about celebrating nothing but the acting in the films and TV shows it honors, it’s a huge deal to receive the award for best ensemble. The competition was truly fierce in the category, with the Three Billboards casting beating out the casts of Get Out, Lady Bird, Mudbound, and The Big sick for the win.
Frances McDormand, who also won the Outstanding Performance by an Actress award for her work in the film, gave a short and sweet speech on behalf of the cast that was filled with gratitude for everyone who was a part of bringing the movie to life.
Thanks to the flawless cast bringing humor, depth, and dimension to every single character, Three Billboards is shaping up to be the award season contender to beat. We’ll definitely be expecting the film to receive more than a couple Oscar nominations, especially in the performance categories for SAG winners Frances McDormand and Sam Rockwell. ‘
